As I have found looking to other sources of book lists a great starting point before tumbling into that rabbit hole of reading book reviews and summaries on Amazon, I've decided to create lists here to share. These will be compilations of books we have enjoyed using with our five year old in a secular literature based homeschooling approach. There is a good mix of both non-fiction and fiction, read aloud's and easy readers. I have been in the habit of researching books that relate to upcoming themes and utilizing our library's Inter Library Loan system to make requests. We make weekly visits to our local branch exchanging 20-30 new titles each week. Work in progress! We're half way through our first year of pre-K/K when I started making these lists.
