Today we lifted the gender embargo. It was a little father's day gift for my Dad. He recieved a video camera for his computer from my brother's and they set up a surprise call. Over this call we revealed that ε is a girl by lifting up a little pink sleeper, which I had bought the day before for them to see. Everyone has been so convinced we would be having a boy, that their reactions were fantastic! Girls are scarce on both sides of our families and you will be the first granddaughter. We also did the same over a video call with Mark's mom, who was equally surprised we are having a little girl.
This evening we made a reasonably tasty facsimile of
Fat Head's spicy parms wings. There was a new episode of Top Gear on. The wings were incredible. I had been lamenting the lack of wings lately and genuinely craving them, so we just decided to make them. Spicy parms were what we wanted and so they were had. I think we have just invented our Father's day tradition.
Today was a good day.
