Exchanging ringsSeptember has been busy. Mark and I were out in California the weekend of the tenth. Mark officiated our friend Martin's wedding (the friend that married us). It was a gorgeous wedding at a winery in the Santa Monica Mountains, and Mark did a fabulous job with the ceremony. This past week has been a roller coaster. We were scheduled for an appointment at the British Consulate in New York City to have our passports stamped for our Visa's and we were planning on heading straight to London from there for a week or so of apartment shopping. However, Mark is currently in Milan (I know, poor him, *having* to go to Italy for work) until Monday. So we'll probably (hopefully) be in London for house hunting this time next week. Actually the past few weeks have been gaining momentum on the stress roller coaster. Finishing projects around the house. Mostly sorting everything, since we can't really pack-- a packing company will be taking care of the actual packing and customs business. We can't really decide what we're taking until we know where we'll be living. The shipping company will be delivering a container for us to load everything we want to take with us, including the motorcycles... but it takes three weeks for containers to make it across the Atlantic on ship, so we'll have a couple weeks here or there with minimal belongings we need for normal living. *deep breath* I can tell you the move is going to happen quite soon, but we do not have a firm date.
