Fitness Foo
I joined the Y in Penn Hills. The best kept secret of Penn Hills apparently with it's super clean brand spanking new center and equipment. My goal is to go each day. Some say it takes a month of doing something every day to build a habit. Even though we're only going to be in this country for a couple more months, and those months are going to be interrupted by short trips to England and San Francisco, I am going to do my best to go as often as I can to build this habit.
My plan is to alternate days between cardio work on the various machines (elliptical trainers, bikes, treadmills...) and weight training using the resistance training equipment(except Sundays when the place is closed). I've gone the past couple of days and there have been only a handful of other patrons around. There are also a number of classes I'm interested in... although I seriously doubt making it to the yoga class scheduled at 6:30 in the morning!
