A note to the plants
Dear Tulip, Hyacinth and Daffodil Bulbs:
Yes, I realize it has been lovely the past couple of weeks, the next couple of days are going to be equally lovely and you are thoroughly convinced that indeed spring has sprung. In case you didn't get the memo, I wanted to let you know that it is still winter.
Come this weekend you will be in for a shock, it is still only January and cold cold air is on its way again. I see already you are poking sprouts out of the ground, some are even so ambitious as to be a few inches out of the ground.
Please stop this reckless behavior. I fear for your survival.
