I finally made a trip to Fallingwater. I've only been meaning to go for the last couple of decades :) We (Karen, Jill, Ted and I) couldn't have asked for a more perfect day, a warm sun shiny day, lots of lovely fall foliage, a tasty lunch in the cafe. Unfortunately, the 20 miles of hiking trails were closed due to the snow last week. Since most of the trees still had their leaves, there was enough snow to cause many heavy limbs to fall. I would like to return, so next time there will be hiking involved.
