Went out for about an hour of tennis with Mark and a couple of friends. We didn't actually play a game at all, just lobbing about and running around like idiots for an hour, but still fun. We went to the Boyce Park tennis courts because we heard they had lights, it did have lights on, but only just until it was starting to get dark. That's helpful. We stuck around playing with limited depth perception until it was *really* dark, the only light coming from the basketball courts off in the distance. I miss playing tennis. I played in high school on the varsity team, although an hour running around doesn't compare to the almost daily 2-3 hours of playing and then walking home 2 miles after practice. Tennis went by the wayside after the orthopedic surgery on my leg. I thought I would be sore today, in the whole using muscles in ways I don't usually use them sort of way, but I'm not, which is good. I need a new racquet, I was playing with my 16 years old a little bent out of shape racquet. Especially when we're going to try to make this a weekly activity.
