Painting again
Since I've run out of rooms to paint in my own home, I have offered my skills and services to my parents. I've repainted each of the rooms in my own home twice and we've only lived here for five years. There's no easier way to change the look of a room than a gallon of paint. I think it's been close to twenty years since my parent's have painted in their home. It's time to help them change the look.
I painted their entrance hall a nice rich and warm brown mustardy-yellow... the photos do not do the color justice. It looks fabulous with all the dark woodwork and the stained glass windows. I have advised them to choose colors from the windows as a palette for room colors and it's proving to be an excellent strategy.
