Since we missed our friends so much, we decided this was a good weekend to visit them in New York City. We stayed with them in their adorable apartment situated on the first floor of a Brooklyn Brownstone. We had a late start hitting the road and ended up arriving at their place around one in the morning. We headed out for a really late dinner at Blue Ribbon. Mark enjoyed a plateful of the crawdad special and I stuck to just a Caesar salad. It was after one in the morning so I didn't want anything too heavy. This was followed with just hanging out and chatting in another bar The Loki Lounge until last call was made, at 3:45 am. By the time we made it back to their place and were settling in for the night, when the lights went out I was puzzled, "What's that strange blue light coming in the windows?... Oh, wait... it's the sun."
