A little dumber
I was sitting in a doctor's office this morning, surrounded by the usual array of well fondled magazines and a television tuned to the office staff's choice.
I arrived early and was the only person there, assuming I had the first appointment of the day I hoped to be out of there quickly. I assumed wrong, a half an hour passed before I was called. If I knew I'd be sitting there for so long, I would have grabbed a cup of coffee.
It was the Regis and Kelly morning show I was subjected to during my painfully long wait. I am dumber for having watched it. This show makes NBC's Today Show look like a serious news program with in depth reporting and decent story coverage.
