We now have a scanner and I have spent some time scanning in old family photos to contribute to my genealogy project. I have only scanned in older poor quality photos to date, the grainy-ness and blur are more of an artifact of the quality of the source image. This weekend I plan on spending time with my mom selecting a pile of images to include for her side of the family. It will be nice to chat and gain background information for the images to include captions.
