It's finished! I've completed my first knitted blanket! Eight skeins of yarn later it measures 38" x 64 1/2". I almost didn't have enough yarn to finish. I ended up snipping off of the 8 inch lengths left to weave into the blanket from where a new skein was added in order to have enough yarn to finish.
