Materials: Basil chenille yarn--2 skeins, size 8 knitting needles
Project Pattern: 26 stitches, alternating rows of knit and purl. (54 inches long) 4 rows of knit to produce raised accents at each end, plus one row purl fastened off in purl. This is my first completed knitting project. The next time I work with chenille yarn I must remember to use larger knitting needles. This scarf is heavy, it will be a very warm scarf with the tight knit thick yarn... it is my scarf-blanket.
