Well we did have an AFC-NFC party to watch those games two weeks ago, seeing who won-- it was deemed the super bowl was just not worth watching. So we had a few friends over for an anti-super bowl gathering. The usual bullshitting and eating of snacks as well as watching a couple of movies: Snatch and Baseketball. Mark did Tivo the game and we did a very quick run through around midnight, the game went over the time allotted and the last couple minutes of the game were not caught. A quick check to espn showed the ultra disappointing result as well as the apology for the boob exposure. His interest piqued Mark then went back to the Tivo to witness the so-called infamous accidental boobage. It was a great, low key night and demonstrated precisely why I would like to institutionalize a movie night at our place. Maybe we could work out an exchange, we supply the venue and beverages and anyone who comes can either supply a favorite flick or snack or we could do a pot luck of sorts.
