I decided to shift my four day work week this week, I'll stay home today and go in on Friday instead. This is primarily because of the heaps of snow that fell last night and the sleet/freezing rain that is now just starting to fall on top of it all. It is surprisingly loud pinging off of the windows and the few bits crinkling down the chimney. The roads in our neighborhood have yet to be plowed. No, I'm perfectly alright with staying home today. Besides, soon I will no longer have this option of being at home an extra day a week, soon I will be full time, but on a day like today, I'm glad I do not have to worry about getting to and from work safely.
