I caught an earring in the act of jumping ship. In the past month I have had three sets of earrings lose a mate by one of them leaping forth from my ear. Fortunately this time, I was sitting on the bus and happened to notice something slide down the front of my coat. Both of the set were sequestered to my bag until they could behave. And it is always the left earring that escapes, why the left ear all the time? I need to take the remaining halves to my favorite bead/earring store History to see if I can put together replacements. It may be difficult for one pair, as it was a special purchase for my self, but I only wore them once and need to try to find a replacement.
