Uncharacteristically busy
I've had an uncharacteristically busy weekend and most of it without Mark, which is even more uncharacteristic...
Helped my mother in her garden. I put in a flower bed for her, including finding and transplanting some wild flowers from the back hillside.
Volunteered with a friend for a Junior League designers' show house fundraising event. It was held in the giant white mansion on Fifth. It was an interesting way to see the event without having to wait hours or buy a ticket, I just had to direct foot traffic for five hours on the third floor.
Dinner at The Park. Our favored diner.
Salsa dancing at Club Havana. Went with my younger brother and some old ballroom croud folks. Lots of people watching, the place was absolutely jam packed with people dancing! A sight I never saw when I was a regular in the latin dance scene years ago.
Shopping at Whole Foods.
A little later Mark and I are going to grill up some salmon and steak and have a relaxing dinner outside together...
