Hmm. It was just another day today. Contentedly busy at work. I was interrupted a lot today, despite having my desk and work space in the most remote part of the collection. I claimed this space by choice. Although I like to be social at work while chatting at lunch or refilling the coffee mug, I do not like so much being disturbed when I am engrossed in what I'm doing. People really have to be out of their way to happen across my path. Tasty dinner. Made our hot multi layered nacho dip. No real recipe here, generally improvised with what we have in the cupboards. One layer comprised of cooked chick peas, pinto beans, corn, onions, garlic, cilantro, curry and spices. Another layer has mushrooms and onions and spiciness of a different sort. I use the soy crumbles to make my 'meaty' layer seasoned with salsa, Mark uses ground beef. The whole thing gets topped with cheese and put under the broiler, served ultimately with sour cream and scallions with tortilla chips or torn bits of soft flour tortillas. Watched Insomnia, not a bad movie. Makes me want to have a little cabin in the middle of nowhere in Alaska though :) Just another ordinary day. Tomorrow will not be so ordinary, I will have my new scooter! Look out roads! Here I come!
