Greenbean still not in our bed

It’s been a year since we’ve had our new bed and Greenbean still just doesn’t like sleeping on it.
A few months ago, we picked up a cozy little cat bed for her. I’m using the term very loosely to describe this round flat piece of fuzz with a tubular filled edge as a bed, but that is what it is. She likes to sit on anything that is on the floor, whether it is a box or a paper towel, she likes to be sitting ‘on’ something with some sort of border.
Her cozy little cat bed sits on a chair in our bedroom where she sleeps perched facing us in our bed. I’m thinking of just moving the cat bed circle onto the foot of our bed and seeing if she’ll make the transition back to sleeping with us, rather than just near us in the same room.
It’s a bold experiment, I miss my little Bean at my feet while I sleep, surely our bed can’t still be that traumatic to her.
