X-mas eve, 2004

We spent christmas eve with my family, as is the tradition. For a year where we tried to simplify the gift giving by doing a grab-bag name drawing at Thanksgiving, there sure were a lot of presents under the tree. Not everyone followed the rules :)

We ate too much and chatted and revelled in stories. Getting down to business, Steve played Santa for the gift exchange. Mom was impressed with the scarf I knit for her. And the big hit with the kids this year was Thomas the Train (Bob the Builder was in vogue last year :)
