Today was a good day

I’ve logged a few miles of buzzing about the neighborhood on my scooter. I’m mastering second gear. I’m getting much smoother with the clutch between gears, starting and stopping. I have made so much progress since my riding practice/experience last fall.

A scooter makes a trip to the corner store fun and it makes a trip to the gas station hilarious. Today’s fill up: $1.40 for 0.68 gallon.

The first lily out the hundreds of buds bloomed today amid the newly blooming milkweed and evening primrose in the backyard garden.

Today was a good day.
